During onsite inspection and further engineering analysis, Geobear experts documented settlement of over 2 inches in some areas. The issue was caused by loose or soft ground that was the result of poor drainage. First, our team recommended a drainage company to address the drainage problems. Then, a team of Geobear technicians began the work.
Our treatment approach was to stabilize the foundation settlement, using our geopolymer injection solution to strengthen weakened soils. Geobear’s technicians injected a high-density geotechnical polymer into carefully planned locations and depths. The geopolymer expands into weak areas and cures in less than an hour to harden the soil beneath the foundation of the home.

Our approach resulted in the foundation being stabilized in less than one day. While lift is never guaranteed, we were able to lift the perimeter wall 1.25 inches uniformly and without any structural damage to the home.
Without the need to excavate, Geobear technicians performed the work without drilling holes in the floors or foundation. The customer didn’t need to move out, tear up floors, or endure costly disruptions. The homeowner was exceptionally pleased with the results and our fast, efficient, and hassle-free approach
