The Telegraph recently published a story using Geobear data that identified the top UK postcodes with reports of subsidence.
The report highlighted an area in North London to be top of the list. With a high prevalence of clay soils that will shrink in dry weather, this and other similar areas with clay feature highly in the top 20. Other factors include the trees in the area and some locations that have victorian drainage systems that may have cracked over time leaking water into the soils.
