Geobear’s work to stabilise a subsiding property was featured on BBC News. 

An ancient Oak Tree in Bristol was under threat of being removed due to its root system contributing to subsidence of a nearby property. For a number of years, the local council had been considering its removal, prompting environmentalists to camp in the tree to prevent it from being felled.

The insurers of the property worked with the council and appointed Geobear to use its specialist geopolymer injection method to stabilise the property affected. The process prevents the soils beneath the property from being affected by tree roots and stabilises the area.
