Small‑diameter injection points were installed through the carriageway to introduce a two‑component geopolymer beneath the affected slabs. Upon mixing, the material expanded to fill voids, re‑compact loose soils and restore load transfer.

The rapid curing properties allowed the treated section to be reopened quickly, significantly reducing disruption.
