Geobear is committed to improving our society through the delivery of our innovative solutions. Aligned with that goal is our long-standing drive to provide carbon-friendly solutions and be a strong supporter of local communities and charities.
Following the care given to a Geobear employee following a heart condition in 2019, Geobear has donated a sum of £2250 to the Liverpool Heart and Chest Charity.
This NHS hospital delivers specialist services for Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiology, Respiratory medicine including adult cystic fibrosis and diagnostic imaging both in the hospital and out in the community.
Each year they provide care to over 100,000 outpatients and 13,000 inpatients across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
The results of the Care Quality Commissions National Inpatient Survey 2019 published in July 2020 rated the LHCH as joint second in the country for “overall patient experience”. Furthermore, the results showed that the Trust was rated the top hospital in Cheshire and Merseyside and within the North West UK.
We hope our donation helps towards facilities for patients and assisting researchers to find new ways of treating and curing heart and lung diseases.
