Area manager - Residential Sales

Location: Home-based (with UK travel)

We are looking for a technical, people-oriented professional to join our residential team and play a key part in our growth.

What you'll be doing As a residential Area Manager, your main role is to be a trusted expert for homeowners. You will be the face of Geobear, helping customers who are often in a stressful situation.

You will conduct site visits (both virtually and in-person), diagnose the cause of the problem, and then design and quote the most effective, non-disruptive solution for their home. You'll be supported by our in-house technical experts and will enjoy working to targets in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

This role is perfect for a problem-solver who is as comfortable with technical data as they are with building customer relationships.

Your key responsibilities
  • Conducting online and in-person site visits to assess foundation problems.
  • Interpreting site investigation data to design bespoke geopolymer treatment plans.
  • Preparing and delivering clear, accurate quotations for homeowners.
  • Proactively managing customer follow-ups and guiding them through the sales process.
  • Ensuring all project details are accurately recorded in our systems.
  • Preparing completed orders for our operations team to ensure a smooth handover for delivery.
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in the UK construction industry, ideally in the residential sector.
  • A relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or surveying (BSc, MSc, HND, etc.).
  • A strong technical understanding of UK subsidence problems.
  • Proven sales or commercial experience within the construction sector.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills with a people-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable with virtual technology (for online visits and system use).
  • A full, valid UK driving licence.
